Spring is finally here…and so many exciting things are happening!

Hi everybody! It’s been a while since my last post, but boy have I been busy! My friends at NJ Sharing Network have been working on many new and exciting initiatives that we will be launching this month so get ready, because you will not want to miss this!

First and foremost, it is April…and you know what that means!? It’s National Donate Life Month! I encourage you to join the many businesses, hospitals, schools and communities across the state who demonstrate their support by hosting events or by simply wearing blue and green on national Blue and Green Day on April 17th! And please, don’t be camera shy! Take pictures of your best blue and green frocks and post them on our Facebook or Twitter pages using #NJSN and #BlueGreenDay or send them to John Valentine at JValentine@NJSharingNetwork.org to enter our Donate Life Month photo contest! Too bad I’m not allowed to enter the contest…you all know how much I LOVE pictures of me! By the way, have you visited our website lately? One of the major projects I was working on over the winter was the makeover to our website and we just refreshed it this month, so please make sure you check it out – www.NJSharingNetwork.org. It looks beautiful, if I do say so myself!

Finally, I can’t think of a better way to kick off Spring and celebrate Donate Life Month than with our 5th Annual Celebration of Life 5K Walk at Bergen Community College in Paramus, NJ on April 12th. I am so excited, I am pumping for joy!! After the winter we have had, I cannot wait to go out there and welcome all our wonderful families and enjoy this fun filled day, which includes music and activities for all ages. If you haven’t signed up, what are you waiting for? Sign up today! I hope to see all of you out there on April 12th! This is the perfect way to get your body moving and in shape in time for Summer!
